As a follow up to “Mon Kèr” on Babani Records, Ribongia continues his exploration of the mysterious and enchanted island of La Reunion. ‘Marmay’ is his first encounter with spiritual custodians of the island featuring Votia.

The song is a voyage through the thick vegetation towards the majestic mountains of Reunion and welcoming to the energetic epicentre of the Creole culture of Reunion.

Uplifting and energizing, with this latest offering, Ribongia did his best to have the listener experience through his own experience, the wonder of encountering the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of this beautiful island.
